PUMPKIN PATCH

Our corn maze is 22 acres. Rewards from 28 advertisers are hidden through out. All you need is a maze map and a desire to explore more than 10 miles of paths. As you find each reward, punch your map to claim your rewards from participating advertisers.

Our patch is eleven acres with more than 38 varieties of pumpkins to choose from. They range in weight from 1-200 pounds and are only $.45/pound. Plenty of small wagons and hayrides are available to help you carry the pumpkins you pick.

No visit to the farm is complete without a hayride. Tour the grounds of Exploration Acres aboard a spacious hay wagon pulled by an antique tractor. It is a relaxing way to get to and from the maze and pumpkin patch.

Dive into the simple joys of yesteryear by jumping into the big mound of straw in Exploration Acres’ play area. Toss some straw in the air or bury your friend. It is the ultimate experience in good, clean fun.

Children 2-12 yrs. will enjoy our playset. The moment they see it, they’ll want to run over and climb up the ladders and rock wall. From the top they can slide down the blue twisted slide or the fireman’s pole.

Young children can’t resist running their fingers through shelled corn. Once inside, they won’t want to leave. It’s a race to see who can scoop corn the fastest and pour it down the green slides.

Kids love to get dirty! Give them some shovels, buckets and toys, add some imagination and friends, and they’ll play for hours. When they are done, they’ll look like they spent a day working on the farm.

Pedaling and pumping, legs go round and round, as giggles and sounds of joy abound. This attraction is great fun for all ages. Everyone is invited to pedal his or her way to victory on our track in the woods.

Little ones will love our tractor train. Let them hop aboard one of the bright color tractors and pretend they are a real farmer, steering their way through a field. They will hardly be able to contain a smile as they wave when passing by.

Grab a rope and make your way to the top of the hill. Hop in the tube and slip and slide, thirty-five feet to the bottom. Kids will want to do it again, and again; it’s that much fun!

Our pony swings are perfect for small children. Load them on the saddle and give them a push. Enjoy the giggles and laughter as they swing and spin.

Ready, set, shoot! Step into the Ball Zone and test your aim with a classic game of basketball. Whether you’re shooting solo or challenging a friend, it’s all about making the most baskets and having a ball while doing it. 

It takes skill to lasso a real horse with a rope. Our horses are a bit easier. With some practice, you’ll become an expert at ringing their necks with one of the bright color Hula Hoops. Make sure you give them a try when you visit the farm.

It’s a simple game. Just pick up a corn bag and toss it through the hole of the board on the opposite end. If you put more bags through the hole than your opponent, you win!

We’ve got hop balls for all ages. Find a color and size that suits you and race a friend or just enjoy hopping and bouncing around. They are so much fun you won’t want to get off.

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be a hamster in a wheel? Now you can find out. Our 50” tubes work best with two children inside working together to push and roll them forward. Your kids will love them.

Who said only Cinderella could have a pumpkin with wheels? At Exploration Acres, it’s your turn! You and an opponent can select bright color cars, with a funny face pumpkin, and race them to victory!

How fast can you pump water with an old-fashioned hand pump; fast enough to beat your opponent? Pick a ducky, put it in the trough and start pumping. Get your ducky to the end of the trough first and you’re the winner!

Our round track is for toddlers and small children only! If they’re just learning to pedal and steer, then put them on one of the trikes and stay clear. They’ll smile and laugh as they race around the tires.
